Jim has been working on historic and period-specific homes for the last 42 years. The vast majority of his career was spent with Larry Meyer Construction as Production Manager. His specialties include custom millwork, unique furniture pieces, one of a kind stairways, and cabinetry. He recently has stepped away from the construction phase of home building and remolding and is now focused on one of a kind furniture and specialty pieces. Jim has a fully equipped shop and enjoys spending his time developing new twists and turns to otherwise standard furniture pieces.
Jim’s education includes multiple schools of woodworking both within and outside of the U.S. He earned his Master of Woodworking certificate from the Marc Adams School of Woodworking in 2017.
